BUCHANAN, Heidi L. (nee Grulke) Peacefully at Avalon Care Centre on Friday, January 16, 2015, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of Laurence (Laurie) of 60 years. Loving mother of Heidi Ann (Peter Bishop) and Duncan Fraser. Cherished grandma of Cameron Laurence and Amy Elizabeth. Predeceased by parents Gustav and Ottilie Grulke; sisters Lucy Moman, Elly Grulke, and Wally Grulke. Heidi will be greatly missed by other relatives and friends. Heidi was well known in her beloved community and served as president of the Orangeville Community Concert Association and was a longtime member of the IODE. Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First Street., Orangeville on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Mark's Anglican Church, 5 First Avenue, Orangeville on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted in memory of Heidi in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
